At the core of the Quality First Education System sits the Audit Reporting Tool. And whether you adopt the entire QFES system or not, the Audit Reporting Tool (ART) will give you an in depth view of your school’s performance across the spectrum of curriculum objectives, character curriculum, CPD, leadership, well-being and mental health. It will identify what you are doing well, but more importantly where you need to improve. You may find your school isn’t where you thought it was, but the ART will help you to get more green ratings on your way to becoming ‘Outstanding’.
As well as individual schools, the ART is perfect for Multi Academy Trusts, Diocese, or cluster schools that work together. Multiple schools can be easily compared, encouraging and enabling school-to-school support; developing a culture where successful strategies are shared. Schools don’t need to spend thousands on advisers to tell them what to do to get green ratings across the board. The answers are almost certainly already within your group. One school will be green in an area where another is red, and vice versa. The ART helps you to become self-sufficient in your improvements.
You have to produce a Self Evaluation Form for Ofsted, but wouldn’t it be great if this single SEF could produce all of the reports you needed for multiple stakeholders? We think so.
Headteachers are always preparing for Ofsted. It becomes all consuming. As such, they will often have to attend Ofsted briefings to keep them up-to-speed with all the little changes. The ART will do this for you. It is constantly updated with information direct from Ofsted.
Stop attending briefings. Stop worrying about Ofsted scare stories. Get back to running your school. Simply enter your evidence in to the Audit Reporting Tool and you’re always Ofsted ready.
